Students in my Language Arts classes have the expectation of writing three-five pages of draft a week. Currently, I am able to provide 15 minutes of in-class quiet writing time. If they don’t get a full page, then their homework is to finish that page. I collect writing notebooks once a week to read and respond to this vital practice.
